Camp Lafayette Facilities
Tired of Feeling guilty leaving your dog at a kennel? Dog home boarding is the ideal alternative for owners AND dogs!
Camp Lafayette is situated on a double lot (about 1/2 acre) in a residential area of Centennial, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. The yard has many trees to provide welcome shade in the heat of summer and provides plenty of exercise space. Fresh water is abundant at all times.
The dogs have use of my kitchen area, a rec room off my kitchen, the back porch and my backyard. There are plenty of comfortable beds for lounging in all the dog areas and many toys to keep your pets busy.
Small dogs and large dogs can play together, under supervision. The small dogs have a small doggie door between their area and the outside. A large dog cannot fit through the door, so the small dogs have the choice of going with the large dogs or not.
To allow small dogs a separate time outside, the doggie door is kept lowered to allow the small dogs access to the outside, while preventing the big dogs from entering their territory.
Sleeping Quarters
Small dogs sleep in a separate area from the large dogs. In the summer they enjoy an air conditioned room inside my home.
The patio enclosure serves as the sleeping area for large dogs. It is kept heated in winter and stays cool in the summer.
Dogs are crated at bedtime and during any time I would need to leave my home.
Pet Interviews
No pets are taken for boarding without interviewing the pet as well as the owners. We want to ensure compatibility with our environment as well as the safety of your pets.
In addition to the interview an application must be filled out and reviewed before acceptance. This application can be found by clicking here.
